For Splitgate 2's Map Creator mode (known in-game as The Lab) I was the lead environment artist, working closely with design on developing and building the modular content kit that players are able to use to construct their own levels. In addition I built and setup the canvas levels that acted as the starting points for players to develop their maps on, utilizing existing assets from other maps as well as biome team support. In addition to asset creation there was a lot of technical work that required coordinating with design, UI and engineering on multiple aspects of the experience such as developing the catalogue organization, user icons and thumbnails as well as customizable materials on assets.
I would also take existing assets made by the rest of the environment team and add those to the library, which involved editing assets to make them work with the requirements of the mode or retooling them for further variations like the crate set.
